Citra is an open-source application for Android that emulates the Nintendo 3DS console. With this utility, users can run games on a smartphone or tablet. Support of external gamepads is provided.
Running games
To use the utility, you need to download and save files in 3DSX format to the memory of your mobile device. After that, you have to run the application and specify the path to the folder with the games.
Settings
The application allows you to connect an external controller to your smartphone or use the on-screen buttons for control. You can configure the gamepad in the corresponding section of the main menu.
In addition, it is possible to select the image quality. This utility supports an automatic screen resolution adjustment. To optimize the emulator, you can turn off anti-aliasing and texture filtering, as well as reduce the drawing depth of objects.
Moreover, you may unlock additional graphics settings and a dark interface design theme. To do this, you need to purchase a premium account. It is worth noting that at the time of writing the review, the emulator is under development. For this reason, some options may not work correctly.
