CovPass is an Android application which allows you to transfer your coronavirus vaccination data to the German Public Health Service. There is an option to use a platform to store digital certificates.
How it works
The main function of CovPass is to confirm vaccination and recovery from Covid-19. You can store all your corona data in the app. It is necessary to scan the QR code on your certificate to enter information that contains the time, expiration date, first and last name. There are various certificates issued by doctors and medical institutions that you can upload to the platform.
Moreover, it is possible to use one account for all family members. This allows you to keep records and confirm vaccinations for everyone in one place. In addition, according to the German Health Regulations, you also receive a certificate of recovery, which you can add to the application.
Safety
CovPass protects your data from third parties through several standards. First, all your certificates are stored locally on your phone. Furthermore, QR codes are displayed with the minimum amount of information that is agreed in the EU. You can also secure documents with a cryptographic method so that no one has the opportunity to forge.
