The app offers a map of power generation facilities across the globe. With its help, you can track the countries with the highest carbon dioxide emissions in real-time. Arrow symbols will tell you which direction the electricity is being delivered.
Electricity Maps automatically records and saves data changes. It is also possible to see how much the situation has worsened or improved over a certain period of time, including 24 hours, 30 days, 12 months, or 6 years.
Green regions
The utility contains info not only about polluted regions but also environmentally friendly areas with the lowest emissions. Active solar and wind farms are marked on the map as well. Since their power generation depends on weather conditions, you can find out the current wind strength and solar intensity.
Moreover, the app provides detailed information about the environmental situation in each country. You can find out what type of power plants prevail in the selected region. It is also possible to check the intensity and composition of emissions, just like in Zerofy.
