ePDS HP is an Android application made by the Himachal Pradesh Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. It is possible to use a digital ration card right from the phone.
Get access
To get access to the service, it is required to have a valid ration card. You will be prompted to scan it before signing in. Your phone number will also be needed for this purpose.
If you do not have a card, you may apply for one on the official web portal. There are six types available, based on the eligibility criteria and the economical condition of the family.
Ration card
This application is made by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs from the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The service allows beneficiaries to use their digital ration card for transactions. With its help, cardholders can purchase subsidized good-quality food from the Public Distribution System.
ePDS HP offers a convenient calculator. It will let you know how much grain you can buy based on your entitlement and a number of family members. In addition, there is contact information of DPO’s, Inspectors, Godown Incharges and DFSC’s. It is also possible to submit complaints and leave feedback.
