GameSir is an application for Android devices that allows users to connect a GameSir gamepad to their smartphone and, if necessary, configure it for each game individually.
Configuring
The application offers a large catalog of Google Play games that are natively compatible with GameSir gamepads. It is possible to create a profile with the desired layout for each game separately. Additionally, some of the popular ones contain official preset configs that do not require any custom key mapping.
There is no need for root access to successfully set up your gamepad. All you have to do is download the game, pair the controller with your smartphone via Bluetooth and create a new button layout profile. Or you can launch directly if an official preset is provided.
It is worth noting that in order to access some 64-bit games, you have to install the G-Engine 64 bit plugin. However, it has some minimum requirements — the processor of your device must be at least a Qualcomm 625, MTK p30 or Kirin 950.
Gyroscope emulator
Some of the gamepads models have a built-in trackball that can emulate the smartphone’s gyroscope sensor. This feature simplifies the process of aiming and makes it more accurate in certain games, especially shooters.
