MakkhiChoose is an application for Android devices that helps Indian residents and tourists to book and purchase rail, bus, and air tickets. The utility is an unofficial mobile client of the transport corporation IRCTC. With its help, users can contact the agents of this company.
Getting started
The application interface is implemented in English, Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. At the start, users are given a choice – contact an IRCTC agent to book tickets or do the order on their own.
Planning a trip
All users need to do is specify the details of the upcoming trip. To do this, you must select the type of transport – bus, plane or train. Next, you should indicate the date of the trip, as well as its start and end points. In addition, it is necessary to indicate the number of passengers and the class of tickets.
Booking
The service offers all available routes in the specified direction. After selecting the appropriate option, you need to provide your name and phone number. Then you are able to book a seat and pay for it. After that, you receive a special ten-digit booking code, the so-called PNR. With it, you can view the details of the ordered tickets.
The list of all user’s reservations is stored in a separate tab.
Remark
Unfortunately, the utility does not perform its functions. The developers have apparently stopped supporting it.
