MeteoEarth is an Android application that provides users with a detailed global weather forecast. It contains a 3D map that can visualize various climate parameters.
Forecast
The application offers a comprehensive weather forecast from all over the world. It provides a map with both 2D and 3D views. The latter allows you to spin the globe around to find the desired place as well as zoom in and out. In addition, you can manually find a specific city.
There is a real-time visualization with hourly changes. It is also possible to display several climate parameters. These include temperature, precipitation, cloud cover, pressure and wind speed which will be layered on top of each other.
Furthermore, you can switch between various weather units. There are additional settings such as the thickness of the borders, playback speed and night lights.
Important note
Unfortunately, it seems that the application is not supported anymore. It has been a long time since it received new updates as well. The interface and map are still available, however there will be no data presented.
