Getting started
To start working with this application, users need to synchronize it with an existing router. It is necessary to establish a mobile or Wi-Fi connection. In this case, the router itself should not work as a hotspot.
Settings
After synchronization, users can proceed to manage network settings. The utility displays all devices connected to it. It is possible to restrict access, including setting parental controls.
A separate tab allows you to view the network map. Here will be the identifiers of all connected devices. You can set up guest access.
The application allows you to measure the network connection speed for downloading and uploading data. In addition, you can calculate the amount of traffic used.
The Security section allows you to analyze dangerous links and view from which devices there were attempts to go to them.

It is worth noting that this utility is the official mobile client of the eponymous company. The app is a new version of the NETGEAR Genie program.
