OnLive is an Android application that is designed for owners of tablet devices. It provides users with online access to the computer desktop via cloud technologies. This utility is the official mobile client of the platform of the same name.
Usage and options
To use this application, you need to visit the corresponding web resource and register with an email address. After creating an account, you will be able to log into the utility.
The main functions of the app are as follows:
- file transfer between PC and tablet;
- launch of various computer programs;
- watching videos and animations;
- work with documents and so on.
This utility supports Bluetooth mice and keyboards for data entry. It is compatible with file formats supported by Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. There is a possibility to open documents, edit, and save them.
The platform offers users 2 GB of online storage for saving files. Its size can be increased up to 50 GB, but note that this option is paid. Data transfer also takes place via the cloud.
Watching movies and animations from a computer is possible due to the use of video file compression technology.
Remark
During testing, it turned out that this platform had stopped working. Accordingly, the application is no longer supported by developers and does not perform the declared functions.
