ResQ Club is an Android application that lets you buy food that would otherwise go to waste from nearby restaurants, cafes and bakeries. There is a map with useful filters.
What it offers
Similar to Food Rescue Hero, the application helps the environment by reducing food waste. Together with partner restaurants and cafes, the service offers soon to expire or simply excess meals at a discount. Thereby, you have a fast, beneficial and affordable way to get something to eat. ResQ operates in Finland, Germany, Sweden and Poland at the moment.
There is a map with useful filters that will let you see the most interesting offers nearby. You can choose the type of food, such as spicy, vegan, beef, fish, low-lactose and others. It is also possible to manually find a venue or specific meal by typing keywords into the search bar. Each restaurant has a list of dishes with a description, price and pick up time.
How to order
To make an order, you should create an account first. It is possible to use Google or Facebook credentials. The next step is to purchase the meal by paying directly in the application. You can use your debit card, credit card or PayPal. The last step is to fetch the food before the last pick up time.
