Samsung Smart Camera is an Android application that allows you to synchronize your smartphone or tablet with a Samsung camera. The connection is made using Wi-Fi or NFC.
Options
The application performs three main functions. The Auto Share option allows you to send every photo to your smartphone or tablet in real time. This happens immediately after the picture is taken. As a result, backup copies of pics appear on the mobile device, while their main versions are stored in the camera’s memory.
The Mobile Link function is for exchanging data. Users can directly send photos and videos between their gadgets and camera. Group sharing is possible. The content is not compressed, and therefore does not lose quality.
Another useful option of this application is Remote Viewfinder. It allows you to use your smartphone as a viewfinder for the camera. It is possible to select a frame, adjust the settings, zoom in or out and make a preview. Also, you can remotely press the shutter button.
Useful notes
Please note that the application only works with Samsung cameras released in 2013 and later. The utility may not be compatible with some models of smartphones and tablets, similar to Samsung 3D Scanner. This can only be determined through testing.
