Seagull Training is an Android app of the eponymous dashboard. It is intended for seafarers to access digital learning tools and training information.
Get started
In order to start using the app, your company must set up a dashboard beforehand. Then you will be provided with STA credentials to login.
Functionality
The utility is designed for both maritime professionals and trainees. It allows access to the competence requirements and learning tools. Users can also check fleet information prior to the next onboard assignment.
It is possible to self-study using a built-in training library. It contains various e-learning modules and resources. The utility provides STCW courses and a certification option as well. All the data may be downloaded for offline usage.
There is a schedule, where it is possible to check proficiency details, related training activities and the due date. You can notify your assessor when you are ready to be tested.
