Smart Life is an Android application that helps users create schedules for smart devices and control their thermostats, air conditioners, sockets, speakers, and so on. This utility is a centralized platform for interacting with various gadgets from many manufacturers.
Getting started
At the start, you need to synchronize the application with your existing smart devices. You can view the list of compatible gadgets in a separate tab, it includes electrical sockets, lighting devices, robotic vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, thermostats, and so on. The connection is provided via your home wireless network.
Please note that Smart Life integrates with Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Microsoft Cortana. Thus, you can control the smart home system with your voice. The key feature of this application is the ability to remotely manage your devices – turn them on and off, change operating modes, and so on.
Opportunities
It is possible to group smart gadgets by zones, for example, kitchen, bedroom, corridor, and more. You can also create groups of devices by functionality, for example, light sockets and others.
There is an option to set a schedule for turning on or off certain gadgets. In addition, you may create more complex scenarios using IFTTT. This way you can, for example, change the color of the lighting depending on the weather, turn off the device when you leave the house, and also set up operation when you are away.
