Spyglass is an Android application that allows you to navigate off-road by tracking your GPS location. This mobile software can be used as a compass, gyrocompass, waypoint tracker, Sun finder, etc.

This utility has been recently adapted to Android smartphones, thus here you may not find all features available for Apple devices. The developers’ team claims that this software is free to use and you can potentially purchase additional functionality as a premium member.
As of this writing, Spyglass for Android does not allow you to change the background screen and try out AR features. In addition, during the testing of the app, we could not manage to use the camera.
Usability
The homepage of the utility contains a functioning compass, date, time, current coordinates, and other data. It is possible to turn on maps, car mode, manual orientation, and gyrocompass by double tapping the screen.
Furthermore, you can manage destinations as well as add map locations or distances by tapping the screen and pressing a small Flag button in the lower right part of the page.
To open settings and coordinate convertor, please tap the Information button in the lower right corner of the screen.

Keep in mind that Spyglass offline maps only show cached areas that were previously browsed online.
