Tshwane Free WiFi is an application for Android devices that offers a map showing the location of free Wi-Fi zones. It is intended for residents of Pretoria and the City of Tshwane. For the correct use of this utility, GPS navigation needs to be enabled.
Map and hotspots
There are three basic sections in this app. The first of them contains an interactive map that shows the exact location of the free Wi-Fi access zones. It is possible to zoom in and find out addresses.
Swipe from right to left opens the next tab. Here is a list of free Wi-Fi hotspots with names of places. These are mainly schools, universities, community centers and various city institutions.
Other options
Additionally, another section of this app is dedicated to the sights of the city of Pretoria and the City of Tshwane. There are presented various useful and interesting places. With this tab, you can find the location of libraries, museums clinics, municipal sports facilities, monuments, and so on.
Remark
Unfortunately, this application is not active at the moment. The developers haven’t updated it for a very long period of time. Apparently, they stopped supporting it.
