UniFi is an application for Android devices, a companion for the network equipment of the American company Ubiquiti Inc. The utility allows you to manage routers and access points as well as set up a wireless connection for home and business.
General information
This application provides an interface for centralized management of your network. It is possible to easily optimize, scale, and track the connection. Please note that this tool is only compatible with devices from the well-known American manufacturer Ubiquiti Inc., running UniFiOS.
Opportunities
At the start, you need to synchronize the application with your existing network equipment. On the main page of the utility, there is a dashboard where the main parameters of your connection are displayed, such as:
- Internet provider;
- speed of downloading and uploading data;
- delays;
- number of connected devices and clients.
It is possible to run a test to check the data transfer speed. Here you can also see graphs of Wi-Fi network usage by various devices. The utility stores the history and traffic statistics for each individual client. There are detailed data for applications that have Internet access.
In a separate section, you can view the network topology and get informed about all connected clients. It is possible to change the configuration and add new devices or block already existing ones.
The augmented reality option allows you to identify the ports of routers. It is possible to monitor their operation in real time. In addition, the Teleport function provides access to the built-in VPN service for anonymous web surfing.
