VesselFinder is an application for Android devices that allows you to track the movement of ships in real-time mode. This platform contains a huge database with detailed information about various vessels, both cargo and passenger.
Ships tracking
The utility allows you to track over 200 000 ships in real time. It is also possible to search for vessels by IMO or MMSI number as well as by name. This app stores the history of movements and allows you to view it. In addition, VesselFinder contains a database with the following information:
- flag;
- name and type;
- numbers;
- rate and speed;
- destination;
- estimated time of arrival;
- capacity and more.
In addition, the application offers information about various ports that can be searched by name and code. It is possible to view the list of arriving and departing ships. In the My Fleet tab, you can create a list of your favorite vessels to keep track of them quickly.
Weather and photos
The application has built-in maps including satellite one. You can view weather overlays by tracking temperature, wind, and wave data. Moreover, the utility allows you to measure the distance and save the necessary information.
It is possible to view photos of ships provided by the user community. Please note that this platform offers information about vessels equipped with AIS transmitters.
