Wormhole is an Android software that helps you to establish the connection between a smartphone and a desktop device. This application also enables the display of the phone’s screen on a PC monitor, file transfer, shared clipboard usage, and key mapping.
Requirements
To make sure the app works correctly, please install a corresponding utility on the computer or laptop. The app is cross-platform, working on iOS, Android, Windows PC, and Mac. Additionally, the utility supports both wired and wireless connection, with Bluetooth required for the latter.
Connectivity
Key functions of the app include:
- key mapping;
- screen mirroring;
- smartphone control from the PC;
- shared clipboard;
- sound transfer to the computer;
- quick file transfer.
It is possible to configure automatic Bluetooth connections to the computer as soon as the smartphone is turned on. Additionally, there are options like adjusting screen display resolution, mouse sensitivity, and some keyboard shortcuts.
Advanced mode
Certain functions are exclusive to Pro version owners, which can be purchased via in-app transactions. The premium account offers enhanced features, such as key mapping for games, connection of multiple smartphones, file and photo transfer, and a shared clipboard.
Please note that receiving smartphone notifications on the computer and screen recording options are currently in development.
