YGPS is a mobile application for Android devices that allows you to check the GPS navigation setting. It is possible to find out the number and signal strength of satellites.
Remark
Please note that this utility is intended only for smartphones based on the MTK processor, unlike OTA. Most mobile devices do not need to configure the navigation module. But in some gadgets created on the early versions of that CPU, the technology of preliminary calculation of the movement was used. As a result, gadgets were by default set to satellites located in the Asian region.
Satellites and signal
This application offers you to check your GPS settings. The main function of the utility is to display satellites above your location. YGPS shows their current combination and the signal strength of each of them.
Thus, you can evaluate the quality of the GPS receiver in various places and determine which satellites it is tuned to.
There is a coordinate grid. It will display your current geographic location – latitude and longitude. Also, the utility indicates the height above sea level, the direction and speed of the gadget movement, as well as local time. Here you can view all the satellites and evaluate their signal level.
