Zip NZ is an Android application that helps New Zealanders arrange installment payments for various purchases. This online service cooperates with well-known retailers such as Bunnings, The Warehouse, Spark, and others.
How to use
To use the app, you need to create an account and provide some personal data for verification. The main feature of this service is the payment by installments for purchases from more than 1,600 retailers.
Customers can choose any goods they are interested in and pay only 25% of their cost. Installments are issued for 6 weeks, and the total amount is divided into four interest-free payments. In case of a timely refund, the commission is not charged.
Please note that to apply for an installment plan, you have to submit an application via the utility and receive approval. It is possible to view the available balance as well as your spending limit.
Useful notes
This app operates not only with retailers but also with the service sector, for example, hairdressing, dental clinics, and so on. There is a separate tab with a map that allows you to identify companies that cooperate with the Zip platform. Installments can apply to both online and offline purchases.
