BDO is an Android application developed for the customers of the Philippine banking company with the same name. The service allows you to transfer money and pay bills, all in one place.
Get started
In order to get access to the application, you should login or sign up. In the case of the latter, you have to select the type of the account and specify whether you are a resident of the Philippines or not. Further steps will differ based on this information.
After you are done with your choice, you will need to provide your contact details. These include your mobile number and email address. It will also be necessary to generate user ID and password. You can enable face or fingerprint to verify transactions and add a 6-digit PIN to increase security.
Mobile banking
This utility provides mobile banking services for its customers. The platform allows you to conveniently manage your finances and pay bills to over 600 listed merchants. Similar to Kiwibank, it is possible to send money to any BDO account using its number. You can also transfer cash to other banks through InstaPay.
The service allows you to generate a QR and use it to withdraw from QR-enabled ATMs. No card is needed — you can just scan the code with your phone. It is also possible to reload your prepaid SIM.
