Coub is an application for creating and viewing short looping videos on Android devices. There is a feed with publications from various users.
Coubs and categories
The short looping videos are called coubs, after the name of the app. Please note that entries in this community cannot be commented on, but you can give hearts, save content or share it on social networks.
After the registration, you get your own channel, where you can upload coubs you created or save other people’s videos. It is also possible to subscribe to users and send them messages.
Coub allows you to select videos by topic. More than 15 categories are available in the app, such as anime, cars, animals, movies, and so on. Also, this platform offers to watch the most popular and recently uploaded content in the sections Hot, Trending, and Fresh.
All liked coubs are displayed in the Favorites tab. Moreover, videos can be added to bookmarks. For comfortable viewing, you can turn off the sound and switch to a dark theme.
Editor
To create your own coub, just use the built-in editor. The utility allows you to download the original video from the gallery or record it through the device’s camera. After uploading content into the app, you just need to select the desired segment of the clip, turn off the original audio track, and overlay the selected music, if desired.
The finished coubs can be added to the users’ channels and to the feed. Subscribers get notifications about new posts from their favorite authors.
