Microsoft Planner is an Android application for planning and distributing tasks in workgroups. This convenient tool is intended for users of the commercial Office 365 package – students, IT workers, and so on.
Collaboration
The utility has a simple and intuitive interface. There are three tabs, the first is responsible for the progress of the allocated tasks. The second allows you to create project plans, break them into separate parts, and distribute them among the participants. Members are added to the workgroup via email.
For each task, you can set a due date, as well as add attachments necessary for work – documents, images, and files. This can be done by any member of the group, which allows all colleagues to quickly exchange additional information.
The project can be shared by sending a link to it. In addition to splitting into subtasks, it is possible to create segments.
My tasks
In the My Tasks tab, the tasks selected for you from all projects are visible. There are three columns: not yet started, in progress, and already done. Thus, you can independently monitor your own efficiency. The utility allows you to build diagrams and keep track of completed projects.
