Samsung Pay is an application for Android, developed by one of the leading electronics manufacturers. With the utility, owners of smartphones with an NFC chip can pay for purchases in stores contactless, similar to Google Pay. This option does not require a network connection.
Cards and payments
Before you start using the utility, you need to attach a bank card. It is possible to enter data manually or scan it using a camera. You can set up payment confirmation using a fingerprint or PIN code.
To pay for purchases, you have to go to the Payment section and select the desired card. Then you need to confirm the operation and bring your mobile device to the terminal. It is worth noting that this operation does not require a network connection. If the funds are successfully debited, a corresponding notification will appear on the screen.
It is possible to set up contactless payments for purchases using smartwatches. To do this, you need to additionally install the Samsung Pay Watch Plugin.
Safety
To ensure data confidentiality, the utility uses a special digital code instead of the real card number. In addition, the built-in Samsung Knox system automatically scans the system for viruses and vulnerabilities.
